I decided to take the dogs outside with Libby today, since it wasn't so cold. This is what she did!! It is so cute that I couldn't stop laughing even when I watched it for the third time!!!
Libby Growing Up Fast
The last couple of weeks have been so eventful for Libby's development. She can grab and hold toys, can prop herself up pretty high while on her tummy, tried to hold her own bottle, a tooth is trying to come up, and to top it off she rolled over from her belly to her back for the first time today. It is so fun to watch her grow!!

Thanksgiving and Christmas Decorations
This year we were so happy to have family over for Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun eating, hanging out, and playing games. I really loved seeing Libby's older cousins and being able to look forward to Libby going through those developmental milestones. It was great to see my sister after so long and catch up.

We didn't really have time to decorate for Christmas until this last week, since Jason was pretty busy at work with Black Friday and I have been sick with a cold. I loved decorating though and really enjoyed watching Libby and Daddy play with the train together.

Cold Inside
For the last few days our heat wasn’t working. It was really frustrating!! We tried everything and I even managed to break the thermostat. After we bought a new one and I tried just about everything short of tearing apart the furnace we finally called someone to come check it out. He was in the house maybe twenty minutes and when he left it was running good as new. I was so happy when he only charged me for a half hour of his time, but more than anything else we were so happy to have our heat working again!! I was especially excited since I wasn’t getting much sleep worrying about whether or not Libby was warm enough or if she was going to get squashed by daddy sleeping in bed with us.

Well Libby received her first shots on the 8th. I
felt so bad for the poor girl. Later in the day she was “telling me off”. It
was so stinking cute that I had to capture the moment on video. She did this for a good ten minutes before I even started recording.
She has also
discovered her hands which I think is totally adorable and I don’t tire of
taking pictures of her chewing on her hands or bringing her hands to her face. Funny thing actually happened this morning. I think maybe she bit her hand to hard and made herself cry. It was pretty cute.

It is so hard to believe that Libby is turning 2 months old
today. Time has gone so fast and yet so slow at the same time. She is my
precious girl and I love cuddling, playing, singing, and talking to her. I feel
very blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom and enjoy my time with her.
She is always changing and growing. Lately she has been “talking” in her sleep,
which is totally the cutest thing ever. Plus she is just inches away from being able to roll over from her belly to her back.
Liberty has her 2 month appointment tomorrow and I am not
looking forward to her weight check. I have a feeling her Doctor will not be
pleased, since I think she is still only at 8-9 pounds. She is on an extra
calorie formula diet, but still rarely eats more than 2 ounces a feeding. However
this morning she did eat a 4 ounce bottle from daddy before he had to get ready
for work and just now 2 more ounces. Wahoo!!
Our little girl is such a beautiful happy girl and I cannot
wait to see what this month has in store for us.

Happy Halloween!!
This Halloween season has been a blast so far. Jason and I carved pumpkins together for the first time in who knows how long. I decorated the front porch and attended a Halloween party with Libby. Halloween is still not over either and we can not wait to give out candy to trick-or-treaters tonight!! Never really been that into Halloween before Libby was born, but it is such a fun holiday. I feel like I have been missing out. Well here are some pictures from our Halloween fun!

On September 7th at 6:58am our beautiful baby girl, Liberty, came into the world. After ten long months plus two days we were past ready to hold our little girl. She has been such an angel and we feel blessed with how well pregnancy, labor and delivery, and taking care of our little newborn has gone. She is just a little over a week old and I already wish she would stop getting older. We love having her in our life and she has made our family complete. It has been a busy week and here are some pictures to show it.
