Libby starting eating rice cereal this last week. It isn't really solid foods, but it is not just formula either. It was so fun the first day. She kept arching her back reaching for the bowl as Jason was feeding her, and of course our little miss independent had to hold the spoon. Jason and I have to constantly battle trying to get the food in her mouth and the spoon away so we can do another load full before she has the death grip on the spoon or flings the food all over the place before we are able to get it in her mouth. It has made mornings a little more interesting for me, since I try and feed her the same time I eat. Sadly this has not improved her sleeping through the night. I think it may have made things worse, but we are still hoping for one night were we both can get at least 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep (maybe I am hoping a little high- 4 hours would be nice too).
This is a video from our phone, so it isn't the best quality. Still so stinking cute though.

Loves Rice Cereal!! |
We also went to the Museum of the Rockies where we were escorted out through the last exhibit to the front lobby, because I was feeding Libby her bottle (no food or drink). It was pretty fun before then though, and after Libby was done eating we went back and finished looking at everything.

Libby was carried around by her daddy all through the museum. |
She is still not rolling over which is driving me crazy. I am convinced she could do it if she really wanted to, but sadly I don't think she realizes the benefits. Plus she doesn't really like being on the floor to much without me right there with her. I spend more time than I should with her in the walker, because she loves it so much and I am able to get stuff done around the house this way.

Loving Her Walker |
My new favorite thing she does is "talk" in her crib in the morning when she wakes up. It makes my day way more pleasant waking up to a content baby! Her are some more things that happened over the last couple weeks.

The friends little girl buried her in stuffed animals. |
VeggieTales and laying in her sleeper is her new nap time thing... sadly it is the only show that will calm her down/distract her enough to sleep. She just screams if I try and watch or do anything else around naptime.
This was a long night for Libby and I. She looks asleep here, but she is awake watching VeggieTales.
